At Home in Provence |

| We had a lovely rented home for 2 weeks in Provence, near Avignon, and the villages of Peter Mayle's A Year in Provence. | |||

Spying my café au lait, Bruce said, "No soup for me, Mama!" But then, he got into the swing of things and decided to try the "gallon of strong coffee in a bowl" tradition. Luckily for all involved, Bruce's coffee turned out to be harmless hot cocoa. |

Dave spent many hours during the visit picking the sweet- tasting top- most
grapes that the sun had ripened.
Sadly, grapes will never be the same for Dave after tasting these amazing ones. Guess we'll just have to go back some time!! |

The portable DVD player helped keep the routine more normal for the boys. Napping wasn't happen too easily for Bruce, so one day we tried to skip it all together. Amazingly around 6:30 p.m., Bruce asked to go to bed (for the first time anyone can remember). | ||
