Skiing

Lots of great skiing this year with the WDS lodge well populated every weekend.

The kids are getting older now and ski with the "experienced" folk more and more. Good thing they are adding more lifts!

Chantale often joined the early morning Creekside crowd for a lift up to her class. The background of the picture says it all for the snow conditions. Great stuff top to bottom.

The guys had a great time exploring all the new terrain off the brand new this year Symphony chair. Here we are at the top of the chair for the first time ever.
Great views from the top of Symphony in all directions. This photo looks toward the famous "Black Tusk", the core vent of a volcano that filled with lava, cooled and then was eroded away.

The poles behind sported some amazing blowing snow attachments. Not sure how hard the wind needs to blow to create that effect.

Looking east from Symphony revealed this lake back down in the valley. We were surprised to see it clear of ice, but it did freeze solid a little later in the year.
