Normandy Chateau

I was insistent that we should be able to tour castles while in France! I hadn't accounted for the devastation of WWII, but we managed to find this beautiful restored chateau, Chateau de Gratot, just south of where we were staying.

We couldn't quite get everyone pointed in the same direction at the same time, but eventually, we made it across the moat and into the grounds.
Bruce and Callie had a great time exploring the towers, via staircases that almost only fit them! Everyone else focused on making sure Elliot didn't fall out any of the unprotected openings.
The folks restoring this place provided a great overview and history. They rescued it from a farmer who was using it for storage!
