Dave flew off for a week to see the first F1 race in Malaysia. Arriving in Osaka on the way to Malaysia was an experience. The new airport is built on a man-made island in the bay. Access is via the bridge to the left. |

At the old Kuala Lumpur airport, we found a car show featuring the classic cars that would be used for the drivers' parade on race day. |

The first of many old Petronas (Malaysian oil company) F1 cars we saw on display. This one was a bit long in the tooth, given its slick tires. |
