February Sun Break

While on our way back from Palm Springs, we stopped in San Diego to check out Sea World.

We skipped the Hollywood-style orca show and simply watched the different groups feed and get checked. The water tank complex is amazingly large and allows great viewing!

Bruce loved watching the mama and baby swim by. 

We also saw penguins whooping it up, diving off rocks, some seals and porpoises, and some really LOUD shows.

In the background you can see the clouds of a major Pacific storm that just managed to stay offshore for our visit!
