A Quick Trip Home
As part of a whirlwind tour in May for Dave's high school reunion, we stopped by the Ranieri cottage. The kids played amazing well, with Becky (Beppy in BruceSpeak™) and Bruce in particular having a grand time together.
At Dave's insistence, we piled into the canoe to make it a true cottage experience. Bruce thought this craft under-powered, unstable, and altogether lacking in creature comforts. His summary: "Down, down", which, translated, means, "Get me out of this silly craft and into that nice 90hp motor boat over there!"
In the motor boat Bruce wasn't saying "Down, down" but he did look a bit concerned. This may have been due to his witnessing a previous docking maneuver!
At the end of the day, a substitute for the bathtub works great. Room for two, even!
