Underway to Alaska

All hands were on deck for departure from Vancouver, approaching the Lion's Gate bridge.

We were all recovering from our mandatory life boat drill at this point. Bruce wondered why we were going to abandon the boat before it had even left the dock. He also asked if they made the vests to save lives or just to make everyone look really silly!

What a thrill: actually passing under the Lion's Gate bridge!

Thankfully none of the workers dropped any spare bridge parts on our head. The bridge has been under renovation for the last year or so: it's easier to sail under than drive on.
