Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch

In the meantime, I hung around at my brother's place, always a good time. So good, in fact, that we were there for the annual street fair!

Here, Paul is very kindly letting Bruce have a turn in a mean game of street hockey.
After some face-painting (on me) and hot dogs, the main attraction arrived: the fire truck!

Bruce got to sit in the front seat.

The main point of the fire truck, on a hot summer weekend, is the spray. Paul & Sue were proud to be pretty much the only adults brave enough to run through. 

Here Bruce is watching in disbelief as Sue (purple shirt) and Micah (grey, behind her) head through again.
