Remodel #2

What started as a need to park more cars has become a new garage and loft space for everyone.

The old garage was demolished and reborn as the section on the left. Now with a higher ceiling, it will house a lift and three cars. The forward section, right, is a single-car garage with a loft in the dormer.
While we were at it (famous renovation words!), we fixed up the laundry room, closets and pantry, and the laundry bath, seen here.
Finally, to improve traffic flow, we moved the garage door from the middle of the family room to the north side, shown here, opening up the family room tremendously.

This shot also shows the beautiful inset stepped shelves and stairway to the loft above the garage.
