Bruce Turns 1 |

Dad managed to collect up 4 high chairs so the babies could eat their cake together -- and throw it at each other instead of the parents. Eating styles for each baby (from left to right, Oliver, Megan, Liam, and of course Bruce) were quickly apparent as the pictures show below. |
Oliver used the divide-and-conquer system, a popular computer concept that he seems to have grasped at an early age. By far, he managed to create the most pieces and the widest cake distribution. |
Megan focused on the icing with lady-like pieces of cake also eaten. Here she can be seen expressing disappointment at the icing-to-cake ratio. Happiness returned when the cake was rotated to reveal the very tasty top-side icing. |
Like Megan, Liam focused only on the icing and in fact detailed examination of the cake revealed Liam ate not one crumb of cake. |
Rather than try any of that dainty piece-by-piece stuff, Bruce decided that it would be more efficient if he just jammed the whole piece of cake into his mouth. Needless to say, Mom and Dad are not going to be dinning with the queen any time soon. |
