Landscapes

Many of my favorite images are landscapes, and it's an easy direction to play with in printmaking.

This image, from the kitchen window at the mountain house, is a 2-plate woodblock print; white and blue on the first plate under the black and brown of the trees and rocks.

This simple linocut of an imaginary Skagit Valley scene looked great printed without ink, just embossed on the press.
This San Juans texture study looks great as a woodcut, with the grain showing slightly through the black ink.
