The Beam-Ectomy Failed |
|||
After a successful beam-ectomy, the doctors thought they had Dad in a publicly acceptable state. Unfortunately, just before leaving for work, a sudden Mylar growth appeared. Medical journals indicate that this type of growth is waterproof, helium-filled, not malignant, and generally temporary. A strong wind or running too fast through a door is thought to speed its removal. Fellow geeks at work didn't seem to notice. Most people wanted to know if it could also be used as an antenna for wireless Internet connections. |
