After spending almost a month with his transmission stuck in reverse, Bruce had a breakthrough this week and has now got the shift lever squarely in 1st gear.
Mom and Dad were very worried about him being stuck in reverse, but now the sight of Bruce streaking across the floor after the cat evokes cries of "My God, what have we done?"
Bruce now has his sights set on some high-performance GoodYear TurboCrawler slick rubber crawling pants. He claims with these he should be able to hit about 20mph (38kph) with a good run at the hardwood floors.
