Although it crossed Dad's mind that skin-compatible
crazy glue and a bucket full of Lego™
could create a similar (though more
painful) effect, Mom and Dad broke down and purchased Bruce this snappy
"Visorak" costume for Halloween. Vision turned out to be limited in this costume, due to the designers' misplaced assumption that 8-year-olds have eyes about 12 inches apart. A little packing tape and a pair of scissor helped some with the situation, but I wouldn't take your driver's test in one of these babies! The chest and leg armor was a bit of a disappointment, as light injected foam rubber doesn't inspire invincibility. That said, it did prove useful when Bruce tripped and fell on the sidewalk while trick-or-treating. Minimal costume damage and minimal Bruce damage were appreciated by all present!
