Arriving Home |

Mom and baby arrive at home on 1/13/98. Notice the fine swaddling job. The hospital staff named this the "pile of dirty laundry" swaddle. With the announcement that we would be going home, panic set in and we quickly phoned around in search of support. Antoine "Spud Boy" Leblond helped with car loading and pharmacy pickup. Without him Dave would have waited for hours in the wrong line. Jill Arnow and the Johnson family were fantastic enough to jump into action on short notice. Jill providing home arrival help, and an ear for Dave's sudden verbal run-ons (don't get him started on digital cameras!!). The Johnson family brought over dinner (pizza) and was very understanding as Dave wolfed down 8 slices with his bare hands. Henry Johnson (2.5yrs old) did a great job of "patting" the baby, as well as amazing Dave with his new-found pinball skills. |
