Our smooth and rather steep driveway doesn't make
for great biking, but turns out to be perfect for scooters. Here, Bruce is working on his braking techniques. As I recall, he successfully avoided the photographer in this case. Since we replaced the last of the grass (read: moss) with this driveway, Dave's been happily out of the mowing business. As you can see, though, the pine needle sweeping/blowing business more than makes up for the lack of mowing. With several strong wind storms this fall, we have a good supply of acid mulch ready for spreading. |
