After 2 years we finally decided to convert our
3/4" slate baby-changing table back into a pool table. Thanks to its
protective vinyl cover, the table came through just fine.
Seasoned from our experience with his buddy Henry, we knew this game required just one rule: Roll the ball! Bruce discovered that throwing pools balls on to the table makes a loud BANG, but the game is then quickly over. |

With rolling mastered, Bruce developed his own game
of pool balls. This involves Bruce rolling balls all around the
table while an adult keeps Bruce supplied by using the
"stick".
Another important rule: when a ball rolls into a pocket, you must yell something like "Yayy, it went in the corner pocket!!". |

Bruce quickly learned about the ouchy possibilities in this game. As can be seen in this picture, Bruce is developing great reflexes! | ||

Here, Bruce is thinking "Wow, I got it
in!", closely followed by "Hey, I need more pool balls!"
It's tough to keep up with the lad.
Note that Bruce isn't really this tall; he's kneeling on the piano bench, which has a new permanent home by the pool table. |
