Rob Turns 40

We managed a surprise trip to the big city to celebrate Rob's 40th.

He would have BEEN surprised too, except for the kiosk check-in spilling the beans. Rob, being quite the kiosk software expert, decided to test the hotel's prototype kiosk. Lo and behold, its receipt spelled out our whereabouts, even though the folks at the desk were sworn to secrecy. Rob didn't notice this until he read through the receipt on the elevator up to the room. Foiled by technology yet again!!

Here, Rob & Judy are taking a short rest from aerobic shopping, to join us for a cafe lunch.

They also arranged a show for us to see, "Rent," which was great. Even more amusing was the parody of it that we saw soon afterwards in "Team America World Police," a great movie for the VERY tolerant-minded.

Rob and Dave headed out to see the sights, but decided it was mostly about lineups!

Judy and Liz decided to compare real prices against those fabulous knockoffs she was shopping so intently for.

If you ever want to buy a high quality designer bag reproduction, Rob and Judy now know a proven method to do this and not get ripped off. I won't put the details in here, but I will say that the scam artists get mad and yell a lot when you foil their bait and switch scam by holding on tight to the "bait".

A great weekend to catch up & hang out -- thanks Judy!
