Holidays 2000

After 2 years of holidays on the road, I once again convinced Dave that a cut tree was a great idea. Heh heh. 

Last time we did this, I had a little trouble reaching around the tree with the light strands, for two reasons: height (of the tree) and girth (of me)!

Our dear friend Jill hung out with us for a great dinner and the present bash in the morning. 

Here, we are seriously into a new Brucie puzzle, from stockings. We haven't even attacked that pile under the tree yet.

Bruce had much more fun playing than unwrapping, so we finally let him just play.

While using his new cash register, Bruce told me,: "I'm gonna buy some oranges for you."

Me: "Okay, how much do oranges cost?"

Him, looking at his new watch: "50 minutes."

After the wrapping paper settled, we hosted Rob (here, reading), Judy, and their kids Mike (top) and Becky for the rest of the holidays.
